About
Forward Deployed Agency Inc. (FORDEA) is a Halifax-based technology firm. We work across industries to solve problems that cost our clients time or money.
Founded by Tyler Batten, co-founder and CTO of OslerAI.
How we work
We learn how the work gets done from the people doing it. We investigate what is causing the problem, then test a possible fix on your own data. What we find may change what needs to be built.
If the fix costs less than the problem, we build it and put it in production. We can host and maintain it or hand it over to your team.
What we take on
Manual work that keeps piling up, systems that make simple tasks difficult, and problems your team has learned to work around. You do not need a specification to start a conversation.

Some projects become products we sell with the client. We agree on ownership, hosting, and any plans to sell the solution together before we build.
Email hello@fordea.io and we'll talk it through.
